I2india and Medical Acoustics
I2india partnered with Medical Acoustics in its pre-commercial phase in India and has built a strong collaboration. While the technology was already patented and approved for mucous excretion in the USA, I2india was interested in several additional and unique applications for India. I2india has conducted clinical testing in India against variety of other common respiratory conditions prevalent in India. Indian testing has given preliminary indications that not only is the technology effective in removal of mucous, it also helps reduce medication and improves the effectiveness of medication in many cases. In addition, early indications also prove its use in improving TB diagnosis by helping secure a better sputum specimen. While the first product introduced is being offered for sputum ejection, we plan to develop and locally manufacture products for TB diagnosis and medication reduction.
